The Kieve

Hi guys! My name is Kev, but I go by The Kieve, a mindset, much like Mamba Mentality of the late Kobe Bean Bryant. It’s about pushing through boundaries, defying odds, and pursuing the unimaginable.

Even after experiencing success in swing trading US stocks on the long side, my curiousity on how day trading works never went away. It was amplified in 2022 when stocks going up at least 50% existed, not fitting my approach, despite a very bearish environment. In short, my strategies had limited or minute opportunities at that time. I remember asking myself, “How am I gonna be able to trade these stocks?”.

In my head, I knew the answer was Day Trading but it was something I was very hesitant to pursue for a number of reasons. For one, I was well aware of what’s required from me to learn it: a lot of failures, unwavering dedication, and blind belief that it’s gonna work out despite not having any idea when puzzle pieces will finally fit together. Likewise, I was already comfortable with my reliable swing trading strategy on the long side; just had to wait for the right environment (bullish sentiment) for it. In short, it was uncomfortable to pursue a very tough endeavour.

5 Digit Win Swing Trading US stocks

I decided I wanted to level up. Had to put my ego aside and self-taught myself how to day trade stocks. Man, it was the toughest thing I have to upskill. For anyone thinking day trading is a get rich quick scheme, IT’S NOT. You would have to put in a lot of time and master your emotions to actually make it happen.

Fast forward to now, still learning but in a very much different position; a position where I can impart knowledge on what I've learned about day trading and shorten the learning curve for anyone who aspires to do it. If there’s one thing I realized in this game is that learning never stops, there’s always something to improve on.
