KV Management Ltd. and its affiliates (“The Kieve” or “we” or “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to all other websites, mobile applications, or digital platforms / services controlled and operated by The Kieve (collectively “Site/s”) that may link to or post this Policy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use and share your personal information when you visit or make a purchase on our Site/s and your choices regarding your information.

By using the The Kieve website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and that we will collect, use, and share your information as set forth below.

Who We Are

The Kieve is incorporated in the province of British Columbia, Canada. We are responsible for personal information collected directly through our Sites in accordance with this Policy.

The Personal Information We Collect About You and Where It Comes From

We collect information, including your personal information, to provide our services on and operate our Sites. We also use the information we collect to provide better services to you. Depending on how you use our services and how you manage your privacy controls, The Kieve may collect and use your information as follows:

  • Personally Identifiable Information you provide to us through direct interactions with our Site

You may provide us with your personally identifiable information, such as information that may identify you, when you create an account or register on any of our Sites, participate in a promo or a contest or in any of our community forums, complete a survey, make a purchase, participate in any of our social networking features, subscribe to any of our magazines, to receive newsletters, promotional correspondence, or other electronic services, or send us an e-mail or feedback through any of our Sites.

Depending on the choices you make when registering for, or during the process of using our services on our Site, you may be asked for and opt to provide the following personally identifiable information:

  • Name, age, gender, marital status;

  • Address, geographical location; 

  • Billing address

  • Phone number, mobile number, e-mail address;

  • Profile picture;

  • User ID/ Username, password;

  • Occupation, education, school;

  • Social media account details (i.e., Facebook, Google, Instagram, Twitter); and

  • Any other information you choose to provide in connection with your account or use of our services.


  • Information we collect from you automatically when you use our Site

When you visit our Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Log Files. Track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

Web Beacons, Tags, and Pixels.  Electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics which is used to collect, report, and analyze User activities, traffic, usage, behavioral and other relevant information sent by your device/s or our Sites through the use of Cookies and similar technologies.  This service may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, applications, and online resources. IP Address and Other Device Identifiers. Your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address is usually associated with the place from which you enter the Internet, like your Internet Service Provider, your company or your university. Our server may also record the referring page that linked you to us (e.g., another website or search engine); the pages you visit on our Sites, the places/sources/websites you visit after our Site; the ads you see; the ads you click on; other information about the type of web browser, computer operating system, device, platform, related software and settings you are using; any search terms you have entered on this Site or a referral site/platform; and other web usage activity and data logged by our web servers. We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our servers, gather broad demographic information, analyze trends among our users to help us improve and administer our Sites. We may also link this information with information that you provide us when necessary to enforce compliance with our rules and policies or terms of service or to protect our Sites, customers or others. 

Location Information. Depending on your device/s permissions, we may collect and process your information about your actual location. We use various technologies to determine location, including IP address, GPS, Wi-Fi access points and mobile browsers. This information may be used to serve personalized content and recommendations, gather broad demographic information, and analyze trends to improve our services or site features.

Push Notifications. Third party application for sending real time notifications to user when you subscribe to it. Data collected are used for analytics such as but not limited to demography and  device access data of user. An option for subscription cancellation is provided.

Information we collect from your Posts, Comments, Uploads

When you post/upload your own material/content (i.e., photos, videos, documents, comments, etc.) to any of our Sites, including the community forums, and/or participate in any of our social networking features or any other feature that may be offered in our Sites, we may collect such materials and information therein. Your posts/comments/uploads and any information therein may be publicly available for others to view. 

  • Information from third party sources

We may receive information about you from other online and/or offline sources which may be combined with other information about you. For example, we may obtain data from:

  • Operators of third-party sites or apps, content distribution channels and platforms, or other devices and technologies when you interact with our content, products, services or ads available on those channels and platforms. The information we receive may include information about the content you view or access as well as your demographic information and information about your interests.

  • Third-party data suppliers such as data aggregators, data resellers, public databases and business partners. They may provide us with demographic information, information about your purchases on our Sites, and other information that help us learn about you and other users of our Sites.

  • Personal Information we collect to process your orders

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you to process your order, such as your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, credit card expiration date, cvv), email address, and phone number.  We refer to these personal information as “Order Information.”

  • Purposes for collection of your Personal Information.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Policy, we are talking both about Personally Identifiable Information, Device Information and Order Information.

We use your Personal Information for the purpose of conducting our business and pursuing our legitimate interests which includes providing you the services you availed of through our Sites. For example, we use your Personal Information to:

  2. Improve, personalize, and expand our Sites

  3. Understand and analyze how you use our Sites

  4. Track user behaviour

  5. Develop new products, services, features, and functionality

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.   • Do Not Track

Please note that we do not alter our Sites’ data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

  • Advertising Partners Privacy Policies

Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on The Kieve, which are sent directly to users' browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

Some of the advertisers on our site may use cookies and web beacons. Our advertising partners have their own Privacy Policy for their policies on user data. Note that The Kieve has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers. 

  • Third Party Privacy Policies

The Kieve' Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.

You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, it can be found at the browsers' respective websites.

Security

We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We also require you to enter a password to access your registration information. Please do not disclose your registration password to unauthorized people. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, you acknowledge and agree that while The Kieve uses reasonable efforts to protect your personal information, The Kieve  cannot guarantee its absolute security.  

We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

The Kieve does not sell information that directly identifies you, like your name, address, banking information, or phone records. In fact, we do not even share that type of information except with service providers who can use the information solely to provide a service on our behalf, when a consumer directs us to share the information, or in the limited additional circumstances outlined in our Policy (such as for fraud prevention purposes or where we are legally required to share the information). While we use your information to serve you relevant ads in our Sites or on partner websites, any and all information that you provide us that may identify you are not for sale or shared in exchange for money. 

If you are based in California and you want to exercise your “Do Not Sell My Personal Information Right” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), please contact us with the subject “Do Not Sell My Personal Information”. We have one month to respond to you if you make a request.  

Your EU Privacy Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted in accordance with the EU General Protection Data Regulation (GDPR). If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

GDPR Data Protection Rights

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user covered by the GDPR is entitled to the following:

  1. The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

  2. The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete the information you believe is incomplete.

  3. The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

  4. The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  5. The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  6. The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

Right To Opt-Out

  • Email Policy. We and our affiliates and partners fully comply with laws regarding SPAM. If you wish to opt out of our e-mail services, you may do so by following the unsubscribe instructions in the e-mail you received. We agree that we will not sell, rent, or trade your e-mail address to any unaffiliated third party partners without your permission.

  • User Registration. You may elect to change the details of your user registration at any time by logging in and editing your User Profile. If you wish to cancel or delete your User Registration, contact us. Please take note that when we delete any information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may be retained in our archives. We may retain your information for investigation of fraud or similar lawful purposes. 

If you have opted-out as described above, and thereafter you provide your personal information when you elect to use a service or promotion that requires us to contact you or share your information with a third party (e.g., you enter a promo or a contest), then your previous opt-out preferences will not apply to such service. Despite your indicated preferences, we may send you service-related communications, including notices about your subscription, and we may continue disclosing your information to third parties under the Service Provider Exception, Legal Exception, and Acquisition Exception described above.

Retention of your Personal Information

We will retain your personal information for the duration of your activities and transactions in connection with the products and services you availed of in our Sites and/or for such period of time required for legal and regulatory purposes, and will be disposed of in a secure manner that would prevent further processing, unauthorized access or disclosure to any other party or the public or prejudice to your interest. Please note that we often need to retain certain data for recordkeeping, audit or legal/regulatory purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion, access to which shall be restricted on a need-to-know basis, as may be required and allowed under applicable laws and regulations.

Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.  We do not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of eighteen (18). If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. You signify your agreement and consent to the amended Policy by your continued use after the effectivity of the updated Policy.
